PIRATES SUSPEND BEN MOTSHWARI



It has been confirmed by the club's website that Ben Motshwari was charged by the police on Monday morning.

Therefore Pirates have also suspended the player with immediate effect.

Club's official statement below:

Orlando Pirates Football Club can confirm that it has suspended midfielder Ben Mothswari after being charged by police this morning. Mr Motshwari will remain suspended, pending an investigation.

The matter is subject to a legal process and the Club is therefore unable to make further comment until that process is complete.

In what was tagged by many as one of the best Africa Cup of Nations finals ever that saw Senegal triumphing over Egypt had challenging moments for Gomes.
