Image
Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United will be battling in a DSTV Premiership match Photo Credit - Soccer Laduma Following a four-match winless run in the league, Kaizer Chiefs unexpectedly hammered Chippa United 4-0 last week. The last time they bagged four goals in a league match was in 2018 when they triumphed 4-1 over Cape Town City. Does this mean they've suddenly topped their game? Some may agree but I beg to differ. Chiefs' attack was clinical on the day but the team wasn't balanced. Chippa had so much space to move the ball despite not creating many goalscoring opportunities.                       Photo cred - TyC Sports Real Madrid went all out to sign Kylian Mbappé towards the end of the summer transfer window.  With PSG having had secured Lionel Messi's signature at the time, they were believed to be fabricating a trio of the Argentine, Mbappé, and Neymar intending to clinch the UEFA Champions League title this season. According to Fabrizio Romano, the 22-year-old wanted to leave PSG for Real Madrid because he wanted the club to receive a big transfer fee they would use to get his replacement. “I asked to leave Paris Saint-Germain, yes. It was in July and because from the moment I didn't want to extend the contract, I wanted the club to receive a transfer fee to have a quality replacement,” he said. “I wanted something respectful between me and PSG: I said, if you don't want me to leave, I'll stay” “Personally, I didn't really appreciate Paris Saint-Germain saying 'He is asking to leave in the la...
