Arsenal extends Arteta's contract until 2025

Arsenal have confirmed the contract's extension with their manager Mikel Arteta until the 2024/25 season. Arteta began his stint with Gunners in 2019 after serving as assistant coach to Pep Guardiola at Manchester City since 2016. The 40-year-old coach is optimistic about the future with the London-based team and wants to take them back to the UEFA Champions League football. “I’m excited, grateful and really, really happy today,” Mikel said after signing the extension. "When I spoke to Josh he could see the club at the same point and he wanted to take the club the way I wanted to do it.
